Family Visa Rules for the UAE:

• After their dependents enter the UAE, resident sponsors have 60 days to apply for a residence visa.
• To get a family visa in the UAE, applicants over 18 must take a medical fitness test at a health centre in the UAE approved by the government.
• To sponsor your wife, you must provide an authenticated marriage certificate translated into Arabic by a certified translator.
• If a Muslim meets the requirements, they may sponsor two wives under certain strict circumstances.
• Only unmarried residents may sponsor their daughters.
• Residents can sponsor their sons until they are 18 years old. If your son is in school, you can pay for him to do so until he is 21.
• An expatriate resident can sponsor their stepchildren as long as they follow the rules set out by the GDRFA.
• An employee can sponsor both parents by submitting a guarantee for each parent as required by the relevant immigration department.
• A woman can sponsor her family if she has a residence visa and makes at least AED 8000 or 10,000 per month plus housing. The woman who lives there should be an engineer, nurse, teacher, doctor, or someone else in the medical field.
